suggested threads and fabric. Carrow House Costume and Textile Study Centre is now open! It is much more user friendly and there is better access for viewing items and the excellent study library. All the embroidery samplers have now been re-boxed & re-catalogued & Phillipa and her colleague Audrey, also a volunteer, are now working their way through the plain sewing ones! Marianne Wenn Marianne Wenn was born near Wroxham in Norfolk in 1803. Her sampler, worked in cross and eyelet stitches, is full of delightful motifs and an uplifting verse.
