'Sampler Selection'

This chart is published by the Queensland Embroiderer's Guild in Australia who obtained the original Margaret Stowell sampler in 2002.  A member of the public who recognised the importance of such a piece of embroidery, had rescued it on its way to a rubbish bin! She contacted the Guild and donated her find. It was decided by members of the Guild to reproduce the sampler and work began on it in late 2002.

Stitched on 25 count linen the finished size is 41cm x 46 cm.  DMC threads have been used to reproduce this wonderful sampler.
