The Sampler Guild 'Gallery'

The 'Sampler Guild Gallery' page is a show-case for pictures of TSG members' work. The pictures can take time to load (especially the first time) but please bear with it, as once they have been loaded they are stored in your computers cache and should load quicker on subsequent viewings. It really is worth it, your work is simply stunning...

To get your work displayed on this page (any work, it doesn't have to be annual challenges...) please send a picture (in jpg/jpeg) format to Mike mike@thesamplerguild.co.uk by e-mail attachment. Please do not send them to Linda, as she will have to send them to Mike anyway!

2008-09 Sampler Challenge Northwest Sampler Guild
Stitched as a member of The Sampler Guild in England.

The inspiration for my sampler is the tree in front of Hampton Court Palace in England. The tree is very large with mistletoe growing in it and I decided to stitch the alphabet to represent the mistletoe.  My initials are also stitched in the tree.  Look close to see the rabbit hiding at the bottom of the tree among the flowers. The following is a list of the stitches used:
Chain stitch, Fly stitch, French knots, Lazy daisy, Straight stitch, Turkey work, Satin stitch, Cross stitch.
